I’m Going to Disney World!

Next week I complete my radiation treatment (30 rather than 35) and then I’m going to Disney World!

The people at Memories of Love  give Disney vacation packages to parents with life threatening conditions.

We are so excited to have finally something positive to focus on.

Sissy wants to meet Cinderella. Coder is excited about all the rides. Loml is going along for the ride. 🙂 For me experiencing all the rides and attractions with the kids will be wonderful and there are so many things I want to see. Just being somewhere warm will be terrific.

And then I found out about this:

For my birthday my sister, I take back anything bad I ever said about her, is giving me the opportunity to scuba in the aquarium at Epcot.

I can’t wait!

Hello. I just wanted to lend my support and letting you know that I understand what you and your family is going through. I lost my father just 2 years back after a long fight against cancer. My father never smoked a day in his life. I wish you the best and encourage you to enjoy your time at Disney with your family. These days and this time will be some of the most precious memories for all of you for lots of reasons.

Make sure you rock out in that aquarium! Sounds like the coolest thing ever!

God bless you and yours. I know you will win this fight.

Thank you so much for the good thoughts.

I am planning to post some great pictures. I am so looking forward to this!

I wanted to comment on you blog but could not.

I liked your piece with Neal commencement speech. I listen to his show sometimes and even made a life changing decision (scary huh?) based on something he was talking about once.

I just realized I never posted it here, so off I go.
